mos craciun a strans restul de bani de la expo, a mai pus el cate ceva plus bunatati, a mai primit o donatie premium food si a poposit la unul dintre "adaposturile" de pisici care i-au fost recomandate. (multumiri multe Alinei Enescu). aici a gasit feline fericite si ingrijite, asteptand Craciunul.

in continuare va astept cu orice fel de ajutor, ori pentru catei ori pentru pisici, de la mancare, jucarii si adapost. tot ce trebuie sa faceti este sa dati un mail.

sarbatori fericite si pline de lumina si caldura.

santa gathered up the rest of the money, added some goodies, received another donation in cat food and made a stop at a "cat shelter" where he found some happy and well-taken-care-of felines.

dupa cum va promiteam zilele trecute, am strans banii din vanzarea pozelor si am cumparat mancare pentru cateii din adapost. 45 saci de mancare de 10 kg le vor asigura hrana pentru aproximativ 2 saptamani. din restul de bani se va cumpara mancare pentru pisici cat de repede posibil, nu s-a putut acest lucru mai repede din motive de sanatate.

multumiri inca odata celor care au contribuit - cei ce inca vor sa ajute, va asteptam cu mare drag cu un mail.

here's the next step: with the money from the sold photos we were able to buy 45 bags of dog food, lasting about 2 weeks.  the rest of the money will go towards buying cat food - more details soon.

primii pasi / first steps

Dragi prieteni,

Cum spuneam, unul dintre ajutoarele de nadejde din aceasta actiune este NESTLE PURINA, multumesc inca odata pentru donatia (in hrana de animale), pentru ca fara ea, actiunea si pozele de mai jos nu ar fi avut loc.

Prietenii de la GIA (Raluca Simion si Delia Pirvu) mi-au sugerat sa iau legatura cu voluntarii care se ocupa de Adapostul Zdreanta. o pagina temporara de facebook este aici. Am sunat si vorbit cu Ana Maria Hutu si am hotarat de comun acord sa ducem mancarea donata la acest adapost. Iar astazi impreuna cu Roxana Chirita am ajuns la adapostul din Jilava. Pozele le vedeti mai jos.

Tot ce va pot eu spune este ca voluntarii care isi sacrifica din timpul si banii lor pentru bunastarea acestor biete fiinte sunt niste oameni minunati care fac tot ce le sta in putinta pentru ca aceste animale sa fie cat mai bine ingrijite, tratate, hranite si nu in ultimul rand iubite. Da, mai este un drum lung de parcurs pana la idealul dorit de ei, drum in care au nevoie de orice ajutor din partea noastra, dar primii pasi sunt bine facuti iar baza este lucrul cel mai "tare" care poate exista: dragostea pentru animale.

Actiunea continua, curand, mai multe informatii despre incheierea expozitiei, fonduri stranse, prietenii care au adoptat pisicile poetice si multe altele.

Dear friends,

As promised, here's the first step in our charitable action.
With thousand thanks to NESTLE PURINA, generously donated dog/cat food for this action.

Our friends from GIA (Raluca Simion and Delia Pirvu) suggested i contact the volunteers from Zdreanta Animal Shelter. A temporary facebook page is located here. Talking to Ana Maria Hutu we decided to take the donation to the shelter and today alongside Roxana Chirita we did just that. The photos are below and need no english translation :)

The volunteers who sacrifice their time and money for the well being of these poor creatures are just some wonderful people who do their best so these animals are well taken care of. (food, health, shelter and.... love). There is a long way to go - they need all the support from you because they are driven by one rock-solid reason: the love for animals.
