(RO) Dragi prieteni

Pachet 1: 30ron / 7eur – 5 pachete disponibile
(5 carti postale editie limitata + numele dvs inscris in lista de binefacatori ai adapostului)

Pachet 5: 500ron / 110eur – 1 pachet disponibil

The Fury Ones ( https://www.facebook.com/events/855000437915532/ ) need their own house to feel safe and cared for - the Poetic Cats decided to make a final comeback.
In the last years we have entertained you with photo exhibitions with pictures of cats. Smaller, older, black, joyful, grumpier or playful. All of them were "adopted" with great joy by you and we thank you for this on behalf of all the recipients of your kindness - both dogs, cats and special children. We thought that as it’s summer and most of you are going on vacation you should take with you some postcards and send them to your loved ones. And what kind of postcard would that be without a photo of a cat on it? 25 cats, to be more precise.

Donations packages are listed below and available in limited number.
Package 1: 30ron / 7eur – 5 packages available
(5 limited edition postcards + your name placed on the list of shelter’s benefactors)
Package 2: 50ron / 12eur – 10 packages available
(15 postcards limited edition + your name placed on the list of shelter’s benefactors)
Package 3: 100ron / 23eur - 15 packages available
(All limited edition postcards + a personalized mug + your name placed on the list of shelter’s benefactors)
Package 4: 200ron / 45eur - 5 packages available
(All limited edition postcards + a personalized mug + a 30 * 40 matte mousse print from the Poetic Cats collection vol. IV + your name placed on the list of shelter’s benefactors)
Package 5: 500ron / 110eur - 1 package available
(All limited edition postcards + a personalized mug + a 30 * 40 matte mousse print from the Poetic Cats collection vol. IV + a photo walk through most places in Bucharest where the photos were taken, the story behind the project, a coffee and a hookah + your name placed on the list of shelter’s benefactors)

To make things more interesting for all of us we will play this as follows: photos will not be made public from the beginning. Their unveiling will depend exclusively on you, the donors. After each threshold is reached (money raised), we will publish 5 more photos from the Poetic Cats vol.IV collection - so once all thresholds are reached all pictures will be available. The thresholds are: 500ron, 1000ron, 1500ron, 2000ron, 2500ron.

All donations will be directed entirely towards building the shelter, less the actual cost of the package. As always, we will offer full transparency on all costs and bills, and the end result will be mentioned on the blog: http://poeticcats.blogspot.ro/. Any kind of help under the form of volunteer work or food is more than welcomed. Any queries will be clarified, either publicly or privately, according to your wish.

FAQ

dragi prieteni

- bineinteles.

- why is this blog in english?
- because!

_________________________________________________________________________________

dear friends,

a small FAQ - if you have a question not covered by this, please feel free to post a comment at the end of this post.

- why not another funds destination?
- unfortunately in Romania selling photos is not such a profitable business. setting higher targets would have not been such a good idea.

- how do i know that my money will go in the right place?
- by following this blog you will be informed: who bought the photos, how much money were raised, account statements, printscreens from the online banking account, receipts, a telephone number for any details and questions, photos from the animal shelters, people to talk to from there and so on. everything will be transparent.

- how can i support you?
- any type of promotion is good: from likes, favs, shares, +1 to donation in the current account and paypal or chipin to animal food. anyone can help in anyway they will be able to.

- details pls!
- send an email at this adress with what you have in mind and we'll talk about it.

- what does the photographer get from this?
- a spiritual plus! :) +1 to karma points
other than that, nothing material, no fame and fortune. i felt i have to do this.
my photos can be found on my personal blog or you can subscribe to the facebook page. you will see the difference between the exhibition and what i usually shoot.

- partners' contribution?
- full scale promotion, food for animals and print discount - for that i am truly grateful and this exhibition would not have taken place without them. costs of this exhibition were supported by me and will not be extracted from the generated income.

- will the exhibition be present in other locations?
- if it proves to be a success, then yes. if you have other propositions, just drop a quick email.

- will there be any photobooks, calendars or posters?
- yes. there will be additional materials. if they are profitable then donations will continue to be made. SUBSCRIBE yourself to this blog to receive more info.

- will there be more actions of this type?
- of course!

- de ce este acest blog in romana!
- :)

expo

dragi prieteni,

c.

dear friends,

i am happy to invite you to the photo exhibition "Poetic Cats - (vol I)". you will find photos with cats on the walls of Hobby Cafe, printed at MyPoster, with the support of Purina, with the participation of Fotopoetica, promoted by Pisica magazine and Metropotam, with help in finalizing this endeavor from GIA.
and with photos taken by me.

a few words about this, more info will follow in the next posts.
in late 2009 and 2010, through my photo-walks in Bucharest i started shooting the various cats appearing in front of me. this fun activity, a joke at first, turned into something more serious when the number of photos increased. then friends suggested me i must make an exhibition with them. so this is it: the exhibition is a charitable one, all the money raised and donated will be used to buy food for an animal shelter.

how can you help? you can buy one of the photos or by donating money, by LIKE/SHARE this blog and this action on facebook, by sending mails about this to people you think might be interesting in this action or they can do anything to assure its success. any promotion is good and will help achieve the final goal of raising money to buy food for the animals.

thank you!
